Microsoft Fall 2002-Think of Midtown Madness 3 as a watered-down GTA3-without the sex and violence. The game is primarily an arcade, street-racing affair with a crapload of real vehicles to choose from, plus all the traffic you can dodge. Normally, news articles wouldn't be posted about an addon, but MM1 Revisited is a MUST for your Midtown Madness game! V3 of Revisited brings in several graphics enhancements and new features. All the skies have been replaced with brand new high resolution ones, there have been EXE fixes, new vehicle colors, general game fixes, and more!
Garbage Truck Unlock: N/AThis large, unsightly vehicle isn't good for much. It gets in the way of your view, is very slow, and handles like a shopping cart with three wheels missing.Washington Taxi Unlock: N/ABoth taxis are pretty average vehicles.
They fill their role nicely in the missions you're required to use them for, but they aren't the best racers outside of the Undercover mode.Opel Astra Unlock: N/AA good starter car, this comes into play in the early Blitz and Checkpoint missions. However, once you get the MINI, leave it by the wayside.Renault 1985 R5 Unlock: N/AOh, Renault. Why do I love you so?I don't. You're ugly and slow and your engine makes an annoying racket.
At least you can handle.Volkswagen New Beetle RSi Unlock: N/AAnother good starter ride, the RSi has a little more juice than the other default rides, and it's also heavier than some of the other small cars, meaning that offroading is more of a possibility. Good handling and decent acceleration make it a good choice for a lot of races.Paris Bus Unlock: Win the first three checkpoint races in Paris. The buses don't really do anyone any good. They're large, unwieldy and hard to fit down some of the more narrow streets.
Pass!Washington Bus Unlock: Win the first three checkpoint races in Washington.Read above.Fire Truck Unlock: Win the first six checkpoint races in Paris. The fire truck is just as large and hard to drive as the buses and trucks, but c'mon. It's a fire truck. Be a hero.Cement Truck Unlock: Win the first six checkpoint races in Washington. The Cement Truck is a little smaller than any of the other larger rides, but its top speed is ass. Still, if you're looking to win a race you haven't been able to master, call on CT and win it slow-style.Armored Car Unlock: Complete the Paris security guard job.The armored car missions are some of the more annoying Paris Undercover jobs, but the truck itself isn't all that bad. It's durable and better handling than many of its bigger buddies.Freightliner Century Class S/T Unlock: Complete the first six blitz races in Washington. It takes a while to get this mamma jamma rolling, but once you do, you'll feel like Stallone in Over the Top.
And that's quite a feeling.Hummer H2 SUV Unlock: Complete the Washington Salesman job.Need to go offroading? Then you need a Hummer. While she ain't the fastest ride on the planet, she handles well in the dirt and grass. She'll also take quite a lickin'.FLE Unlock: Complete the Paris Delivery Guy job.Don't let its looks fool you.
This little wonder can tear up some courses. It's the best-handling ride in the game, and perfect for missions where turning and precise movements are paramount.Limousine Unlock: Complete the Paris chauffeur job. It's too long to be of much use anywhere besides the missions. However, if you use it on Xbox Live, people will wonder who's inside. No they won't.
They'll know a jackass is at the wheel.Cadillac Escalade Unlock: Complete the Washington Limo Driver job.The Escalade, on the other hand, is a mighty handy ride, indeed. It's not too fast, not too slow, and it's built like a rock.
If you're having troubles getting through a level the fast way, dial in the Escalade and rumble.Ambulance Unlock:Complete the Paris Paramedic job. This boxy beast is not what one would call maneuverable. Unless called upon to use it, don't select it for any meaningful race.Paris Taxi Unlock: Complete the Paris Taxi Driver job. Both taxis are pretty average vehicles. They fill their role nicely in the missions you're required to use them for, but they aren't the best racers outside of the Undercover mode. The Paris Taxi is smaller and weaker than its American counterpart. (Insert joke here).Paris Police Unlock: Complete the Paris Police Officer job.A decent car, but not quite as good as the Washington police car.Washington Police Unlock: Complete the Washington Police Officer job.A pretty decent all-around ride.
It won't be able to compete with some of the faster cars in the game, but it's well balanced. Plus it sports the 'cab forward' look all the kids are talking about.Chrysler PT Turbo Unlock: Complete the Washington Rental Car Driver job.I can't keep myself from hating this pretentious excuse for a car. It's stats are all pretty decent, but c'mon.
Have some style.1959 Eldorado Seville Unlock: Complete the Washington Pizza Deliverer job.Taking it back to the old school, this boat is pretty formidable, but it won't compete with the upper register cars on the block. Doesn't mean you won't be a pimp.Mini Cooper S Unlock: Complete the first three blitz races in Paris.Easily the most versatile car in the game, the Mini is a giant in terms of how many missions you can conquer with it.
Almost a perfect car, except that you can't take it offroad.Chevrolet SSR Unlock: Complete the first three blitz races in Washington.Another ugly piece of American garbage, the SSR is, despite its appearance, a well-balanced vehicle.Saab 9-3 Turbo Unlock: Win the tenth checkpoint race in Paris.A crisp little sedan, the 9-3 Turbo is a good touring car, but lacks the acceleration to compete at the upper levels.Chrysler Crossfire Unlock: Win the tenth blitz race in Washington. The Crossfire is a sweet ride. With a monster engine and great handling, it's a checkpoint killa.Audi S4 Avant Unlock: Complete the first six blitz races in Paris. The fastest station wagon you'll ever drive, this sucker is a notch above the Beetle RSi. It's compact, fast and has quite a burst off the line. A good mid-range car.1967 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback Unlock: Complete the Washington Stunt Car Driver job.The cool factor is through the roof with this car. It's got great acceleration and top speed, but slides a little on the corners.
You'll have to be a master of turning in order to seriously compete with this car.Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Unlock: Win the tenth checkpoint race in Washington.A little better with the handling than the Fastback, but it just doesn't carry the same weight it used to with the ladies. It's definitely still a contender.Dodge Viper SRT-10 Unlock: Complete the Washington Private Eye job. With buttloads of accleration power, the Viper is quite a studly beast. If you're out to show someone a nice bit of American engineering, you can do a lot worse than the Viper.Audi TT Unlock: Complete the Paris Special Agent job.Another sweet sports coupe, the TT has amazing handling to complement its decent speed. Plus, you'll really feel like a secret agent as you drive it.Lotus Esprit V8 Unlock: Win the tenth Paris Blitz race.Koenigsegg CC Unlock: Complete it ALL.

Midtown Madness 3 is an open world racing game, part of the Midtown Madness series.
The game was developed by Digital Illusions CE and published by Microsoft Game Studios. This marked a change from the developer of the first two games, Angel Studios had moved on to work on Midnight Club series.
The Xbox-only release and change of developer heralded a significant graphical improvement to maintain the console's graphical standards.
Gameplay[edit]
Paris and Washington, D.C. are available as open world recreations in the game. They represent a smaller area than the real life cities, albeit larger than their comparable counterparts in Midtown Madness and Midtown Madness 2. In single player the player can freely roam, race, or complete objective-based missions. In 'Cruise' (free roam) mode, the player can choose the number of pedestrians and amount of traffic, change the weather and season, the time of day and the season, and collect car-specific paint jobs, in a car selected by the user. In 'Blitz' races, the player goes through all the given checkpoints in any order and races to the finish line before time runs out. In Checkpoint Races, the player goes through the checkpoints in any order and gets to the finish line before their opponents. In the 'Work Undercover' mission mode, in Paris, the player works as a delivery guy, taxi driver, chauffeur, security guard, ambulance driver, police officer, special agent, while in Washington, D.C. the player works as a pizza deliverer, rental car driver, limo driver, car salesman, stunt driver, police officer and private eye, completing objectives.
The game supported Xbox Live for online multiplayer gaming, and a split-screen for offline multiplayer. Extra downloadable content was available via Xbox Live to expand the game's original premise. Capture the Gold is a mode where gold is stashed around the city and the player must take it to a hideout. Other players will attempt to steal the gold. Checkpoint has players race against others on pre-defined tracks around the city. Cruise is a free roam mode around a city with others. Hunter starts as one player starts off as the Hunter and everyone else in the game is Prey. As the Hunter captures Prey, they in turn become Hunters, and the last person who is Prey stands alone as the winner. Stayaway is a mode where whoever holds the rabbit for the longest time wins. Tag is a mode where players chase each other and try to bump each other's cars.
